A wine thought by many as the best Australian interpretation of 'cru classé' Bordeaux this is a wine of the utmost quality. 66% Cabernet 28% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc; a wine with a classic Bordeaux nose filled with cedar cigar box violets and blackcrrant. The palate reflects the nose with again strong Bordeaux like characteristics. Flavours of cedar cigar box blackcurrant spice and cedar fill the palate dry but elegant with amazing length.
