Marchand & Burch Mixed Grand Cru Pack

$549.00 See retailers & vintages

The Marchand & Burch Mixed 2014 Vintage Grand Cru Pack is comprised of six stunning Burgundian Noirs. Frequently referred to by those in the know as "a bit of a star", winemaker Pascal Marchand has made a bit of a name for himself in the Pinot Noir Mecca of Burgundy, despite his Montreal origins. When he met fellow Pinot-obsessive Jeff Burch (the man behind Howard Park) a few years ago, it turned out to be a match made in Burgundian heaven. The two quickly became good friends (over a few bottles of Grand Cru no doubt) and subsequently dreamed up their very own wine label - Marchand and Burch. The Marchand & Burch Mixed 2014 Vintage Grand Cru Pack includes both a Premier and Grand Crus, the Grand Crus plot finding its home at the esteemed end of the Clos de Vougeot vineyard, right on the border of famous Echezeaux, parts of which are owned by Domaine de la Romanee-Conti. Huon Hooke rated this Clos Vougeot vintage 97 Points, illustrating its extreme quality. 2014 produced beautiful and elegant wines, layered, complex and rousingly fragrant, each wine a perfect expression of both terroir and vintage. Intoxicating and haunting, there is nothing on this planet quite like the great wines of Burgundy. If you haven't dipped your toes in the waters of Burgundy just yet, now is the time to dive in - you won't regret it. Mixed Case - Mixed Case - Mixed Case
