I’ve often found myself singing the praises of Argentinian malbec, for its gutsy charm and fruit-drenched fun. How does the same variety from WA compare? Very well, as it happens. Itââ‡Â¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s got all of that plush intensity that you’d want, with lashings of dark berries and chocolate, rounded off by elegant oak spice and fine tannins. It’s a little brighter and more approachable than it’s South American counterparts, but it will still handle your steak nicely.
