This is 100% chardonnay from the Côte Chalonnaise elevated in form by way of the traditional Champagne method. 30 months on lees have given this weight and texture along with an intricate layering of flavours. Quince, apple and brioche are evident on the nose. The palate follows through with strawbrry, peach and mango, all leading to a dry, elegant finish. You could pay a lot more for a sparkling wine of this quality and complexity, but why?
