Jean Loron have over 300 years of family business under their belt, so by the 6th generation of making Mâcon, they know what they’re doing. Itâââₚ¬â„¢s important to realise that although Pouilly-Fuissé is one of the best-known parts of Mâcon, no part of it was ever given premier cru or otherwise elevated AOC status, as the growers never applied at the time of formation. Ah, French. It does also mean that you can get seriously good value chardonnay here.
