When this rocked up on the tasting bench there was a lot of scepticism. Aged viognier isn’t usually something many people get excited about, and to be honest, I was letting external opinions of what is À˜trendy’ influence me. In short, before we tasted it we were unlikely to run it. Then we opened it and slapped our own preconceived ideas in the face because it was brilliant. Drinking this viognier reminded me not to care about what other people think, it’s about sharing good wine at the end of the day. And this is good wine, mofo.
