WINERY INFORMATION MAAN Wines creates a range of approachable affordable and accessible wines It was founded by cousins Anthony Neilson and Matt Anderson in 2014 in a small garage in Adelaide Hills with the aim to make great quality wines at affordable prices TASTING NOTES Handy MAAN GSM is ablend of 21 5 Mourvedre and 28 5 Shiraz grapes with 50 Grenache grapes all sourced from the best McLaren Vale vineyards It displays a deep matte purple colour with crimson and dark purple highlights throughout the wine Juicy aromas of dark cherry blueberry rhubarb ripe mango passionfruit paw paw orange zest and rosewater coupled with slight muskiness and hints of burnt sugar green tea red creaming soda cardamom and clove flow off its scintillating nose The palate is rich and smooth brimming with flavours of vanilla leather and tobacco balanced by light dusty oak chariness and fine tannins altogether leading to a generous flavoursome and refreshing finale Drink this lovely GSM blend with barbeque steak smoked cheddar steak and rosemary nbsp
