This old vine fella has all the right moves - dry grown 50 year old (or more) bush vines, a couple of different Vale sites to add complexity, only old large format oak, and a good few years of bottle age. This sets up a focus on concentrated, pure grenache fruit flavour with no distractions. All thered berries, herbs and spice, sweet but savoury, seemingly simple but opens up to a wonderfully complex display of peacocking. What a delight.
