WINERY INFORMATION Lethbridge Wines is a leading winemaking company of Geelong started by three scientist friends - Ray Nadeson Maree Collis and Adrian Thomas They established Lethbridge with the objective to produce natural and organic wines using biodynamic winemaking practices and methods refecting the unique fruit flavours and characteristics of their vineyards TASTING NOTES The Pinot Gris grapes used to craft this white wine were hand picked fermented in French oak barrels and treated with yeast and lees to retain complex fruit characteristics and aromas The 2016 Lethbridge Estate Series Pinot Gris nbsp contains 13 5 of alcohol and exhibits attractive aromas of pear blossom and citrus from its lifted bouquet These fragrances give way to a sweet and vibrant palate packed with flavours of honey almond and toast leading to a silky and textured climax With a cellaring potential for a term of about 4 years this delicate white wine tastes excellent with spicy foods pork mushrooms and cured meat
