Situated in the heart of Australia's famous Coonawarra wine region Leconfield's rich Terra Rossa soils over limestone provide the ideal environment for growing premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The blend displays a rich chocolate-mint nose and integrated subtle oak with the Cabernet providinga backbone of cassis overlayed with plum fruits from the Merlot. Medium bodied in structure the palate is fine and round showing hints of fruit sweetness with silky tannins framing the elegance and restraint of the red wine.
