There's a moment when all the effort, barrel time and blending comes together and you get that first taste of a wine. Langmeil's Paul Lindner finds this the best part of winemaking. The challenge of each vintage is different and you never know the result until that special moment. Langmeil's prestigous history dates back to 1842 and through their many vineyards, and relationships with some of the most tried and tested growers of the Barossa, Langmeil has access to some of the best fruit the region has to offer. Truly reminiscent of its terroir, this stunning wine is a great expression of the fantastic growing conditions. It's rich and full, velvety and seamless, with impeccably bright fruit, plum, mulberry and raspberry that layers the rich palate. There's also some gentle spice, and the oak effortlessly rounds out the wine. This will develop beautifully over the next few years, but stock up now as we can't guarantee how long this gem will be around.
