Made from a blend of 70% Mourvedre and 30% Shiraz, this is a soft, smooth style of red that slips down easy and won't intrude on your conversation. Smells of red and blue fruits lift from the glass to tickle the nose-hairs, along with whiffs of star anise spice and a touch of toasty oak. The palate s more medium-bodied, with red berry and dark cherry flavours, licks of spice coming through, gentle tannins, and a smooth, velvety finish. This would be great with a rich pork dish.
