Deep, sweetly fruited and moreish shiraz from Kirrihill, a Clare favourite of ours. Perfect settle-into-the-sofa wine with a bit of good TV on. There’s blackberries, raspberries and a solid lick of licorice and coffee to add some compelling complexity. It’s soft andsupple and even the tannins are determined to let you have a good time. Cellar if you like, but there’s no need, really.
