WINERY INFORMATION Established by Michael and Patricia Berry in 1998 Kingsley Grove Estate is a family owned and operated winemaking company It is a 24-acre vineyard situated in one of the fastest growing wine regions of Queensland Kingaroy nbsp A self-sustaining winery it runs on the philosohy of from berry to bottle TASTING NOTES Kingsley Grove Merlot is stored in French oak barriques for a period of 36 months to maximize its rich flavours and intensity With an alcohol level of 11 6 this Merlot varietal features dark red hues This medium bodied red wine offers smooth aromas of plum and black olives from the lifted nose The palate becomes soft and rich with hints of French oak and ripe tannins ending in a delicate yet spicy finish Made to consume on release this red wine only gets better with a cellaring period of 5 years and tastes incredible with meat pies lamb shanks and hearty stews
