If I had to choose one wine to show how great dry German Riesling can be I would choose a Keller Riesling. These wines are the German Montrachets. Jansis Robinson. There is nothing basic about the Riesling Trocken from Klaus-Peter Keller. A rock solid core and fine bouquet youthful blend of grapefrit tart orange petrol chalky soil tones lemon peel and a top note of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is pure full-ish and quite deep with lovely nascent complexity ripe snappy acids and superb length and grip on the focused and serious finish.
