WINERY INFORMATION With a winemaking history dating back to 1893 Kaesler Wines reflects a rich tradition of nurturing superior quality grapes and making premium wines Established as a 96 acre vineyard the estate today boasts of its old dry grown grapevines producing bold and intensely flavouredwines The estate was first planted by the Kaesler family and is currently owned by accomplished winemaker Reid Bosward nbsp TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft Kaesler Old Vine Semillon were handpicked and pressed and the juice was fermented with natural yeast to enhance its texture The resulting wine shows a pale straw colour with light green highlights lurking throughout The attractive bouquet exhibits tropical fruit aromas of passion fruit and lychee which complement the vibrant citrus notes The fruity palate contains flavours of green apple and lime which supported by lemon acidity culminates in an intense and smooth finish Serve it with deep-fried sole fish fillet with Thai herbs and Cheddar cheese to enjoy a pleasing meal
