WINERY INFORMATION Behind one of Australia rsquo s most popular wine brands ndash Jacob rsquo s Creek there is a rich and vibrant history Wine pioneer Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard in 1847 to begin a winemaking journey that has become legendary over the years Today the company expors its superb wines to more than 60 countries It sources only the best grapes for producing these wines from its lush vineyards in Barossa Valley Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra TASTING NOTES The dazzling Jacob rsquo s Creek Sparkling Ros eacute is an award winning blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes The fruit was picked with minimum skin contact in the cool of the night and delivered for gentle pressing at the winery The resulting wine reveals an elegant light pink colour accompanied by a fine mousse The attractive bouquet exudes fresh aromas of strawberries and redcurrants from the Pinot Noir counterpart with subtle citrus characters from Chardonnay The lush palate is rife with flavours of red berries and lemon citrus which combine with creamy yeast autolysis to culminate in a soft and round finish This refreshing wine tastes lovely when served chilled with Chinese soy braised abalone tapas or finger food
