WINERY INFORMATION Winemaking We have made this wine in the Saign eacute e style or bleed off as it is often referred by This method is often used to create the most delicate of the Ros eacute s The juice is gathered from the weight of the grapes pressing down on top of each other and bleedingoff the shiraz juice As the juice is in contact with the skins for a very short time the colour is light yet the wine produced is full and fruity retaining great freshness We sent a portion of the juice to barrel for wild ferment whilst the remainder was fermented in stainless steel All components were then blended together giving us a sumptuous delicious wine TASTING NOTES The wine is pale blush with aromas of raspberries pink musk and grapefruit The palate is refreshingly dry with red currant pink musk and a lovely balance of acidity followed with flavoursome yet savoury finish A beautiful food wine to be drunk chilled now The Rose is an ideal choice chilled with grilled prawns
