The genius that is Penfolds has a long tradition of fortified wine production dating back to its time in the 1800's. This one features a blend of some meticulously selected old tawnies and has incredible depth of character and lushness of texture. It is best had with English cheeses such as Stilton r perhaps something more decadent as rich chocolate cake, to complement its depth and complexity. Or simply have on it’s on at the end of the day in front of the fireplace.
