Founded in 1890 by Michel Grallet the Rozelieures distillery is located in a small village in the Lorraine region in the North-East of France well know for the quality of the ‘eaux de vieâââ€Å¬â„¢ produced there. This whisky is created through a traditional process of double distillation using lightly peated malts resulting in distinctive toasty notes. It is matured in ex- Sherry casks that make the whisky soft elegant and fruity revealing delicate spicy undertones.
