Frankland Estate ... was established in 1988 by Judi Cullam and Barrie Smith on their sheep station in WA’s remote Frankland River region. Today it is â€Åââ¬Å“a significant operation” (Halliday), home to very high quality wines. Ray Jordan, James Halliday, James Suckling, and Huon Hooke are all impressed by this glittering star. Halliday and Suckling rate it 96pts – high praise indeed! "Distinctive minerally personality ...grapefruit, lime juice, the flowers of a Meyer lemon, the zest of a ripe mandarin. Tight and textured, the tingly acidity holds the line along the palate and drives through the finish..96pts” (Halliday).
