This Italian import comes from a family winery out near fair Verona in the Soave appellation. Made from the indigenous garganega grape, it was born into volcanic soil and grew to become a fresh, minerally vino with flint, citrus and floral notes. This wine copped 95 points from Michael Garner at Decnter thanks to its matching of “extreme flavour intensity with finesse on a stupendously long palate”. It’d be a tragedy of Romeo & Juliet proportions to miss out on this.
