François Secondé Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs

Blanc de blancs are the racecars of champagne. Running purely on chardonnay, they trade out a more robust pinot-rich palate for sleek, crisp, bright flavours with acidity and drive for ageing. The nose is lively, with fresh aromas of acacia and honeysuckle, complemented by a finessed palate of jasmie, green apple, citrus and brioche. At eight years old, it’s developed bags of complexity, with toasty and nutty character beginning to really shine. This is seriously good champagne.
