A highly awarded and very popular wine first produced in 1999. It has a rich and powerful aroma and palate of blackberries, toast and sweet fruit. The wine is well balanced with fresh rich fruit, soft tannins, has a long dry finish and is suitable for mid-term cellaring. A classic McLaren Vale Shira which benefits from a period of decanting. The pallet has lashings of bright fresh plums, raspberries, blackberry and black cherry flavours are complimented by the creamy vanilla oak and fine graine
