WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard Foster e Rocco is the collaboration of two friends Adam Foster amp Lincoln Riley who have undertaken a project to make wines that they want to drink approachable accessible and above all food friendly Having spent many years working in restaurants as sommeliers boh individuals understand the role food and wine plays in uniting people through engaging their senses Winemaking 100 unoaked fresh expression of Sangiovese nbsp Fermented in small parcels we look to maintain pristine varietal character and build in fine approachable tannin only a light hand plunge is required to keep the Sangiovese in check before the wine is pressed into tank TASTING NOTES The 2015 Nuovo is perfumed bright amp juicy Fragrant cherry and cranberry aromas are supported with floral notes spice and fennel accents Medium bodied palate that is multi layered streams of varietal cherry fruit leading to crunchy fresh fruits tobacco and savoury dried herb notes sprightly acid and fine soft tannin complete the wine
