WINERY INFORMATION nbsp Vineyard First Ridge Estate is passionate and dedicated to growing and producing the finest Italian varietals in the region Wines to excite the senses evoke conversation and rouse passion Wines to be shared and enjoyed around a table of abundant food friends and discusion not unlike a vibrant Italian table Winemaking Enzo is a blend of a thrid Sangiovese a third Shiraz and and a third Merlot Each parcel of fruit contributes its varietal signature to this wine adding spice aromatic lift primary fruit tannin and length Each parcel is cold soaked for 48 hours and then inoculated Moderate fermentation temperatures are maintained around 22-24 degrees with twice daily pump-overs and at least 2 drain and returns during the course of the ferment Pressed when dry and settled in tank before being racked to barrel for Malolactic fermentation and maturation TASTING NOTES Dark chocolate cherries and plum fresh spice with a subtle background of vanilla Delightful finish with bright acidity and soft tannins that give this wine great length and ageing ability The perfect blend to accompany food without fear of being lost nbsp
