This snappy little Rioja is made from 100% tempranillo and shows off the best of the grape. It has a medium body with ripe red fruit and elegant oak character. Three months in American oak have added a touch of grip and vanilla to the abundant plums, cranberries and licorice spice. If you are not failiar with the Rioja region or tempranillo variety - Finca Mónica is a great introduction that is equally delicious with or without food.
