Fat Bastard Chardonnay brings welcome relief to those looking for a big fully worked style. Bright straw colour with pale gold edges and a watery hue. Intense ripe peach, honeycomb and butterscotch aromas waft from the glass followed by some nougat, cashew and spice. Big, rich and creamy but with jut the right amount of freshness preventing it from being fat or blowsy, the palate features mouthfilling flavours of honeycomb and ripe peaches with light butterscotch infusions followed by cashew, nougat and spicy toasty oak. Rich, round texture with a clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of honeycomb, nougat, butterscotch, cashew and spicy toasted oak. Incredible value.
