Padthaway is a bit of a hidden gem wine region that overdelivers on two things - shiraz and flavour! The region set up in 1964 and since then has been making consistency good shiraz, and cabernets to rival Coonawarra. Farmer’s Leap are one of the regions’s leader who excel across both varieties,and have a few other beauties in their range too. ‘Fortune’ is the top of their range - ripe, full, firm palates with well-integrated tannin and good length.
