WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard The vineyard site consists of a North-facing slope overlooking Hay River Valley Wilson Inlet and the beautiful and breezy hills surrounding Denmark The immediate outlook on the property is a flat of grazing cattle Winemaking The 2016 vintage received ample winter rinfall while temperatures bordered on average to mild Timely harvesting of Chardonnay achieved its brand of fruit complexity and flavour The process of de-stemming the fruit having it basket-pressed and cold-fermented were some of the traditional procedures used to produce a varietal of representative quality The wine was not wooded and was in fact bottled early with stelvin closures further preserving its lively fruit flavours TASTING NOTES This delicious Chardonnay is straw-coloured with light tinges of green As you pop open the bottle you will be assailed by a classic and unwooded Chardonnay giving off tropical fruit aromas Flavours of juicy peach and pineapple render this wine with a rich palate ending with a clean freshness This easy-to-drink light summer wine can be enjoyed with roast chicken Japanese-style pork belly butternut squash risotto or fresh seafood nbsp
