These conditions ensured the Cabernet Sauvignon component developed fine structure and restrained tannins, while the Merlot delivered plush fruit expression and smooth texture. Winemaking Harvested at optimal ripeness, the Cabernet and Merlot parcels were fermented separately and blended to highlight their complementary strengths.
