Drake wine is a collaboration between winemakers and somms aimed, they say, at creating “by the glass wines with interest,” but youâªd be forgiven for drinking this ‘15 pinot by the bottle. It comes from the Strathbogie Ranges in NE Victoria, a small but exciting wine region, and picked up 91 points from James Halliday who said “the bouquet and palate sing from the same page with plum fruit in abundance.” You can also expect red cherries, spice and foresty notes, combining to make a smashable pinot to have either with food or out on the deck.
