In 1914 under the command of General Lockwood Smith-Dorrien the valiant soldiers of the empire, The Old Contemptibles, were forced to dig in. This Tawny is dedicated to them. Made from selected from parcels of the finest fruit matured in oak hogsheads, the palate is luscious, rich and sweet with intnse flavours of spicy caramel and chocolate.
