This Smaragd wine is a prime example characterised by low yields due to poor soils on a steeply terraced vineyard. Medium green yellow with golden highlights the wine is open and expressive on the nose with romas of spices pineapple tobacco and minerals. It has good concentration on the palate with rich well-sculpted yellow fruit. The bright acidity adds freshness and elegance.
