Zind-Humbrecht is one of those highly intriguing wineries that has gone full-throttle biodynamics. They also have a Master of Wine in the form of Oliver Zind-Humbrecht, so they should have a handle on what they are doing. This bonny little Pinot Gris is beautifully aromatic with scents of pears, mus sticks and honeysuckle florals on the nose, with just a hint of roasted nuts. The palate is quite smooth and lush with some sweetness evident, a slightly waxy texture, and a soft, plump finish. It's a bit richer than what we get in Australia, and would be excellent with spicy dishes. White - Pinot Gris and Blends - Pinot Gris
