Seriously though, this smart little wine is about the best value Burgundy we've tried in ages. Made by a family who've been crafting wine in the Macon hills since the17th century, this comes from a 40yo vineyard near the town of Chardonnay itself. Matured in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness, this wine is stylistically closer to a delicate Chablis than anything else, helped by a super cool vintage that is just perfect for vital and vibrant white wines. A mighty attractive wine, what makes this even more delicious is the price - $26.99, for a crafty Burgundy like this? Oh yes, this is damn good! White - Chardonnay and Blends - Chardonnay
