Malbec almost disappeared entirely from it’s original home of France but thanks to the Argentinians taking it up with great gusto this Southern French native is showing why it was taken to South America in the first place. Rich and velvety with a European savouriness this juicy wine is mad near Carcassonne in the Languedoc-Roussillon and an excellent introduction to the variety.
