DOC Prosecco Rose

$30.00

This Italian Prosecco Rosé DOC is from the heart of the Prosecco DOC region, in northeast Italy. With a provencal pink colour, this millesimato sparkling wine made from glera and pinot noir grapes is obtained through the Charmat method. A well-structured, elegant style of prosecco with a fine peristent bubble, delicate floral aromas with hints of red fruits. On the palate it is dry, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Enjoy as an aperitif, with seafood or cheese. Lightly chill before serving. ‘This Prosecco Rosé DOC is one of the first to be released in Australia since the Italian Government gave the go ahead for pink prosecco production in May 2020. Made for the Calneggia family in Italy, this is a blend of 85% glera and 15% pinot noir. It has a very pretty colour with floral aromas, nice mousse, and hints of red fruit - same family but different to traditional prosecco. Food friendly and great as an aperitif.’ - Ciao Magazine 2021.
