This isn’t just gold medal-winning French pink under $10. This is a blend of caladoc, merlot, syrah (shiraz, you know) and grenache. Caladoc, eh? Oh yeah! This grape is a cross of grenache and malbec, made specifically or the Southern French climate, to have stronger fruitfulness than its parents. So, you end up with a kind of GSM mix. Or a GMMSG mix, to be more accurate. Typically spicy and dry with subtle red fruits, bit more loganberry and blueberry from the malbec heritage, I reckon, too.
