WINERY INFORMATION Cullen Wines is a family-owned and operated winery started by Dr Kevin and Diana Cullen in the year 1971 after their successful trial plantings in Wilyabrup The winery is situated in the renowned Margaret River wine region and is currently managed by Vanya Cullen who had bee the Chief Winemaker since 1989 and was promoted to Managing Director in 1999 TASTING NOTES Cullen Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is a blend of 36 Semillon and 64 Sauvignon Blanc grapes resulting in a pale straw coloured wine with light green hues throughout the glass The attractive bouquet exudes aromas of fresh cut grass and vanillin oak with subtle spicy and tropical hints evident in the backdrop It is lively and vibrant on the palate filled with juicy fruit notes and toasty characteristics which fuse with the underlying mineral acidity altogether leading to a crisp and captivating finale It can be cellared for a period of 15 years from vintage Pair this dry white wine with pan-fried scallops scallops with a pea puree and mild Thai green curry to unlock its full flavour potential nbsp
