WINERY INFORMATION A pioneering family to the Margaret River wine region the Credaros had migrated to Australia from northern Italy in 1922 Cesare Credaro planted an acre of Fragola vines at Carbunup which has now evolved into about 140 hectares of grapevines spread across seven vineyard sites he estate rsquo s 1200 tonne winery was constructed in 2003 in northern Margaret River TASTING NOTES Credaro 5 Tales Cabernet Sauvignon shows a medium deep red colour with a purple rim The aromatic bouquet exudes dark blackcurrant aromas with notes of cedar and leaf The nose is enhanced by hints of dried herb and chocolate A sip reveals dark plum and cherry characters These fruity flavours are joined by slight hints of creamy vanilla in the supple palate resulting in a flavoursome finish This red wine will improve in the bottle over the next 5 to 8 years Serve it with bacon wrapped sausages lasagna or blackened chicken to make the most of your drinking experience
