Cork Cutters Cabernet Sauvignon

Cork Cutters sees a coming together of three 'young gun' wine producers - Spinifex, Lucy Margaux and Some Young Punks! From an excellent South Australian year, this is a fulsome style of Cab Sav (with a cheeky 9% of Petit Verdot) that shows blackcurrant, tobacco leaves, violets and plums on the nose with just a hint of savouriness. The palate kicks in with ripe dark fruit flavours, a mild grip to the tannins, and a balanced, savoury-edged finish. It's a tad more intriguing than the usual fare, and would be great with some slow-braised oxtail. Red - Cabernet Sauvignon and Blends - Cabernet Sauvignon
