Chateau Lagrezette describe this malbec as a “fat wine†and I’m not quite ure I agree. This is a beautiful wine, a wine that’s comfortable in its own skin, a wine that doesn’t give a shit how you label it. But if we do have to label it, let’s call it a gold medal winning, outstanding malbec from the south of France. One that shines deep red and tastes like blackcurrants and vanilla, rounded and balanced with an elegant finish longer than my list of regrets.
