Chandon Sparkling Brut

$26.00 See retailers & vintages

The Yarra Valley was first noted as a wine region in the 1800s. But it was in the 1960s when Moët & Chandon saw its potential that the world sat up to pay attention. This is a prime location for cool climate winemaking. Rich, loamy soils are just the beginnin, as warm sunshine, breezes off the Southern Ocean and cool evening temperatures help the vines produce fruit of great intensity and concentration. Chandon's sparkling wines are made with all the quality and prestige of their international counterparts. Made by method traditionelle and aged in bottles for a minimum of 18 months adds layers of complexity and texture that is deserving of the famous Chandon name. A Chardonnay led method traditionelle sparkling wine, showing generous primary fruit characters, followed by a creamy mid-palate that offers nougat and nectarines, and extends to a soft, lingering, crisp finish. This is the Australian benchmark for bubbles and an ever-reliable party favourite.
