Michel Reybier is the lynchpin at Cos d'Estournel and mostly responsible for the very high standard of this their second wine. The belnd is of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot and though rich and full-bodied manages to show a satiny flow of fruit across the palate that at once seduces and crates a dangerous drinkability. The wine is exceptional for sitting behind the skirts of its mother; complex gloriously perfumed singing with the exuberance of the 2010 vintage. It's an ideal wine to feel part of the glory of an estate that is delivering the goods at the highest level.
