WINERY INFORMATION As one of the founding five wineries of the Margaret River wine region Cape Mentelle Vineyards rsquo team works with the philosophy of sustainable viticulture to create an outstanding range of vibrant handcrafted wines The estate was the first winery in Western Australia to b certified by the Winemakers Federation of Australia rsquo s Entwine program This delightful Sauv Blanc was named after Georgiana Molly an amateur botanist and one of the first settlers of Western Australia nbsp TASTING NOTES The grapes used to craft this beautiful Georgiana Sauvignon Blanc were picked at night and then fermented in stainless steel tanks The resulting wine then displays a pale straw colour The lively bouquet exhibits attractive aromas of white grapefruit cassis buds apricot nectar and kiwi fruit The intense palate is rife with guava white fruit and zesty citrus flavours coupled with delicate flower petal notes These characters are balanced by crisp acidity which eventually paves the way for a vibrant textured and refreshing finale Crafted for immediate consumption enjoy this youthful Sauv Blanc from Cape Mentelle Wines with fresh fruit salads or barbecued whiting with herb salad nbsp
