Cabernet and Friends Mixed Dozen

$139.00

Featuring a whole lot of Cabernet Sauvignon, this case is all about rich reds. If you like Cabernet, you're going to love this case. You'll find two each of the following wines in this mixed case: 2x 2017 Norfolk Rise Cabernet Sauvignon: While Norfolk Rise is probably best known for Shiraz, it's imortant to remember the Cabernet too. Mount Benson, home of Norfolk Rise, is not all that far from Cabernet Sauvignon mecca Coonawarra and has similar red dirt over limestone soils. 90 Points - The Wine Collective. 2x 2019 Water Dancer Geographe Cabernet Merlot: Water Dancer typifies the juicy and fleshy expression of the varieties from the Geographe region. A spectrum of flavours ranging from bright berry fruits, to darker plum and lashings of chocolate. 2x 2018 TWC Regional Collection Jim Brand Cabernet Sauvignon: Fragrant blackberry and blue fruits, cassis with hints of eucalypt and cedar oak. Displaying distinctive Cabernet characters of cassis, blackberry and plum with minty notes. The wine has fine-grained & elegant tannins with lingering fruit on the back palate 2x 2018 Bayliss Road Black Label Cabernet: Ripe and generous McLaren Vale Cabernet with big black fruit flavours. That's what you expect with Vale reds though, and this doesn't disappoint. Blackberry, blackberry and oh yes, more blackberry. 93 Points - Sam Kim - Wine Orbit. 92 Points - The Wine Collective. 2x 2017 Family Wine Estates Regional Selection Cabernet Shiraz Merlot: From the Burge family comes a slightly unconventional Barossa red that just works, with the Merlot really softening things out nicely. It's soft, round and bursting with plum and red fruit. Tannins are silky, the mouthfeel is so plump and full and everything is just setup for BBQ drinking. 93 Points - Sam Kim - Wine Orbit. 92 Points - The Wine Collective. 2x 2016 Penmara Reserve Mudgee Cabernet Sauvignon: Penmara are based in the Hunter Valley with input from five different family properties around NSW. This Cabernet Sauvignon from Penmara is a lovely earthy regional red. Full of flavour and heart, it's just the pick for anyone after a red wine with flavour. 92 Points - Sam Kim - Wine Orbit.90 Points - The Wine Collective.
