Handy and versatile red blend from Karadoc on the Murray Darling, this is an open and friendly sweet-fruited style which is drinking beautifully. The usual dry tannin grip associated with most young cabernets is barely in evidence here and the merlot component contributes a softening influence. A grat everyday red.'A ripe, plummy mouthful of red wine at a great price from the Mildura region. Blackcurrant jam-like aromas of attractive fruit purity lead through a medium weight palate of juicy flavour, appetising balance and a soft tannins. Everyday red of above-average quality.
