VINEYARD Brand s Laira is an iconic winery nestled in the heart of the famed terra rossa strip of the Coonawarra region in South Australia Steeped in heritage with a wealth of old vine vineyards dating back to 1893 Brand rsquo s Laira offers a range of opulent and richly flavoured premium wine from this distinct region WINEMAKING Harvested in the cool of the evening fruit ws gently pressed and juice was settled before fermentation to maintain clarity and flavor intensity Cool fermentation temperatures of 12-15c were employed to enhance the distinctive aromatics Once completed the fermentation of the wine was allowed to rest on its yeast lees for 2 months to bring out the slightly cream texture prior to being blended and filtered for bottling TASTING NOTES Colour Bright pale straw colour with light green hues Flavour Intensely flavoured of snow peas and dried herbs with a fine textured palate that is balanced with crisp citrus acidity Cellaring Drink now
