The Blue Stone Vineyard is on the Warramate foothills like Soumah’s Hexham road vineyard although it is in the Parish of Coldstream and not Gruyere. The soil and altitude is very similar to our home vineyard and the MV6 clone Pinot Noir is now 18 years old.These mature vines have produced quie a powerful wine full of cherry and raspberry flavours. Our cold soak, wild yeast ferment an use of premium French oak barriques (27% new) have helped build a savoury wine with a very elegant finish. This wine will mature well for the next decade.
